Westgate Car Park Halifax Reviews
Having just received my Blue badge, I know ignorance is no excuse. I assumed it was free, at the West Gate car park. I stayed just 20mins to look at a sale at the local arcade shoe shop,
A week later through the post I was informed I owed £60 fine to be paid immediately or pay £100 pounds. As I have a disability the £60 caused me hardship money wise. I appealed but to no avail.
If at all possible do not use said car park other reviews are not cordial of this company

I promised I would write a good review if we got satisfaction. Knowing he had definitely bought a ticket, my friend was incensed to receive a parking fine, but a pleasant email to the address in the letter, asking them to check that a ticket had been bought at the time stated with perhaps a digit not matching the registration did the trick and charges dropped. I suspect a person took over from the technology when asked. Worth asking.

Do not use this thieving car park unless you keep your ticket of proof of parking for at least 2 weeks. Please pass word round boycott this money making flytrap

I am disgusted that I have just received a county court claim form for 'breaching terms' yet I have never received a PCN
Apparently I now owe £164 plus court fees that would take the total if it proceeds to a court hearing £239 but I have not received anything else regarding this matter.
Very scary that they have this control, definitely I will never park there again and strongly discourage anyone else to

We too definately paid and we received a ticket three weeks later to say they wanted £60 we decided to take this to court and was fined £200 THIS CAR PARK IS LIKE A FLY TRAP DO NOT PARK HERE.

Just received a "Parking charge notice" for this car park. Definitely paid and displayed, but Hx Car Park Management say otherwise . On one of their pictures of my parked car I can definitely see a white ticket on my dashboard, so either they can't read or they are blind. Am appealing but don't hold out much hope.

Got a fine through the post stateing I've over stayed by 11 mins however paid for an hours stay and only stayed for 15 mins so how it was overstayed I didn't understand appealed against it but heared nothing back from this will be reporting to relevant companies, do not fall for there overstaying charges and do not use, and if you do keep hold of your tickets to prove your times

I had paid for the maximum amount of time and did not exceed my stay and yet I still got a fine.
Do not park here. Their system is faulty and you will be fined and they will not reply to your appeal. Now I am getting letters from Gladstone solicitors.
