Had a new air conditioning radiator fitted here, 3 weeks later, following some pretty loud grinding noises the compressor for the air conditioning blew up, called the RAC who couldn't release the bonnet, for some reason the the cable had stretched, worked fine prior to being in this garage's work and wasn't used in the 3 weeks after the work was done. Took car back, they offered to fix the compressor for approximately £400.00. Decided on a second opinion, got second opinion was compressor, 2nd opinion garage replaced release cable and compressor, after this work car was still making grinding noises, took car back to 2nd opinion garage who took car apart and found a screw driver jammed against a fan, this was what was causing the grinding noises, car now working fine no noise. Never again will I use Surefix, they were rude when the compressor broke and claimed nothing was there fault, make of it what you want, but I'm convinced they broke the release cable and caused the problems with the compressor by leaving a screwdriver in the engine.
