I visited the shop for the 1st time to order a couple of hooded logo tops for my son on the 8th August. I was informed they'd be ready in 2 weeks, so after 3 weeks I returned in person to collect them (already paid for). Affter queuing for 15 minutes, I was informed rather abruptly that they hadn't arrived and that they would call me when they had. I asked when this would be & would it be for the start of the school term and was informed yes. After a week (and 3 days before term started) I hadn't heard anything and called to enquire. Again, I was informed rather rudely that 'THEY would call ME when they arrived as they'd already told me. No apology or anything. 1 day before school term started I called again (no call from them) & was informed that they had not received them from the manufacturer and had been ordered again! Unbelievable! Not only had I had to wait 5 weeks for 2 tops but the manners of the staff there was awful. I most definitely will be going to Kershaws in Brighouse in future - wish I had in the 1st place

I was the second customer of the day at 930am, I was served by the owner of the shop, not once did she use any manners other than say hello before she served me, she didn't asked what I wanted I told her, if she didn't want to serve the public I suggest she closes her shop, I was always brought up to believe manners cost nothing and your customers are tomorrow's bread and butter. No please no thankyou no goodbye, before I had even taken my purchase off the counter she was routing through stock trying to find an order which hadn't been delivered for the next customer, just because this establishment has the monopoly on certain school uniform in Halifax, if does not mean that the owner can be ignorant.

The products are excellent. But I want to say how rude I found the lady in the shop. I wanted to try on a 36" jumper. She kept telling me my daughter was a 34". I said that she had 34" last year. This was now too small. I was trying to ask her about the sleeves on jumpers...but was not given chance she abruptly said that it doesn't matter what year she is in. She looks a 34"! We quickly tried the jumper on and bought it (36"). Do not expect good customer service or help and support via this women is constantly right. Not the parent.
