I hired a small car from Practical Halifax in early July for 7 days. Cars were hard to find but Practical had what I needed and the price was more than competitive with the bigger renters , infact 40% less . The location is convenient as the office is a short walk from Halifax railway station which has direct trains from London , Manchester and Leeds. The staff were very helpful and polite and the paperwork took no time at all. The car was clean and tidy and relatively new. Returning the car was also stress free and once again it was simple to use public transport to get back on the journey. I would have no hesitation to rent from Practical again .
